Spring update

Wow!! It is the end of March already. Our last post was in December. Boy did this winter fly by!! So what have we been up to????

We spent the winter in Donna, Texas smack dab in the middle of the Rio Grande Valley. Despite some crummy weather in January ( did'nt everyone have that??) and a wicked cold we both suffered through a good part of February, we had a great time here. It was our first time in this area and we really liked it. We met lots of new friends and kept busy with a variety of things like exploring the area, trying different places to eat and park activites.

Here it is time to pack up to head North. We sure will miss the warm weather and sunny times at the pool. We will come back here next fall.

Next weekend we will head out with a final destination of Fairplay, Colorado. A summer in the mountains at 9300 feet should be pretty cool...in fact some of these late Spring days may be VERY cool!! We will keep you posted on that.

So, we will keep this updated for the summer and hope you keep up with our travels. Next stop: Boerne, Texas for a couple of nights.
